The Norths Old Boys (NOBS) is a proud group of former Norths Cricket Cairns players who continue to embody the spirit and camaraderie that defines our club. While their playing days might be behind them, their passion for Norths is as strong as ever. The NOBS come together regularly to celebrate the club’s rich history, reconnect with old teammates, and give back to the next generation of cricketers.

Where past players unite to keep the spirit of Norths alive.

Celebrating Tradition: The NOBS hold regular reunions and events to reminisce, share stories, and keep the bonds of friendship alive. These gatherings are a testament to the enduring connection that players have with the club.
Supporting Juniors: One of the key missions of the NOBS is to raise funds for our junior cricket programs. Through various fundraising activities and events, the NOBS ensure that young cricketers at Norths have access to the resources, coaching, and support they need to succeed.
Building Community: The NOBS play a crucial role in maintaining the “Club for Life” ethos at Norths. By staying involved and contributing to the club’s future, they reinforce the sense of community that makes Norths Cricket Cairns so special.

2024/25 Update
The money raised last year was put towards trophies (massive shout out to Ross Allen for his involvement in the Junior Presentation Night), as well as the stubby coolers (which I will endeavour to distribute throughout the year) and we are now Bronze sponsors of the NCC.

If you’re a former Norths player, the NOBS is the perfect way to stay connected with the club and give back to the sport you love. Join us at our next event, or learn more about how you can support our junior programs through the NOBS initiative.
